Insulation Copper foil tape used in EMI shielding tape

 

The copper foil tape can be used either as a conductive foiltape or as an EMI shielding tape. It is excellent in adhesion, thermal conductivity, and fire retardancy. It also has good performance in resisting moisture, aging, and freezing. 

 

The electromagnetic shielding can be regarded as electrical shielding and magnetic shielding respectively. The electrical shielding rellers on the inherent excellent conductivity or copper, while the magnetic shielding requirs the assistance of nickel on the tape surface.

 

Metal foil tapes are widely used in mobile phones, laptops and other digital products. Specially, the copper foil tape is mainly applied to the conductive use on hard-to-fix insulators.
